2024 at the Turville Trust.
Before we ring in the New Year the planning of next year’s summer holidays is already in motion. We would first like to publicly thank Andy who is hanging up his bus drivers hat and wishing us well. We are so lucky to have had Andy with us for so many years, he has been an enormous part of the success of the holidays. We know that the hosts, carers and most especially the children will miss his natural good cheer and warm presence. Thank you Andy!
We are always looking for new people to get involved with the Trust and become part of this wonderful community. It is thanks to the many volunteers over the last thirty years, from near and far that we are able to run the holidays and offer the children such a fantastic experience.
We believe everyone has a gift they can share with the children, it could be a skill, a workshop, a meal, or your time. We are hoping to give the children as many new experiences as possible and build their self confidence. In the last few years we have been lucky enough with our volunteers that the children have tried new things like making their own hedgerow paints and sound healing. If you are interested in volunteering please do get in touch at info@turvilleschooltrust.co.uk.
In the meantime please take a look around the website, we hope to fill it with more testimonials, blog articles and pictures in the coming year. We are also now able to receive donations through the ‘Donate Today’ page which can directly pay for activities such as boat rides, bushcraft or horse riding etc!
Happy New Year to you all, The Turville School Trust.
