It all begins with an idea.

The Turville School Trust was established in 1992 by a group of like minded individuals in the Hambleden Valley.

They wanted to extend an invitation to children living under adverse circumstances to enjoy some respite in the countryside. For them to have a summer holiday where they could have new experiences and be free from responsibilities and worries.

As the years have passed the Trust bought the Turville School building which had been in disuse for some time. We have now been using it to host the children for over twenty five years. Year on year we find that more and more children could benefit from such a break. Children are becoming increasingly vulnerable in our society and some face unthinkable challenges. With the help of our generous community we hope to continue these respite holidays for years to come.
